Publikacja stanowi przegląd i szczegółowe omówienie wyników eksperymentu Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) zbierającego dane w kompleksie Wielkiego Zderzacza Hadronów w laboratorium CERN dotyczące wysokich pospieszności (forward physics). Autor koncentruje się na pomiarach underlying event, strumieni cząstek (dżetów), przypadków dyfrakcyjnych i ekskluzywnych. Publikacja stanowi kompendium wiedzy na temat wyników otrzymanych w ramach współpracy eksperymentu CMS na podstawie danych zarejestrowanych w latach 2011-2013. The author focuses on the underlying event, jets, diffraction and exclusive analyses. The publication is a compendium of knowledge about the results obtained by the CMS collaboration with the data recorded in 2011-2013. The author of the publication worked at this time at CERN and was the head of two research groups conducting analysis in the scope of forward physics. According to the author's knowledge, this publication is the first such extensive review of the results obtained at the CMS experiment in this area.
