Theory and Practice The multi-author monograph dedicated to the issues of translating Polish Sign Language (PSL) contains thirteen articles addressing the subjects which have not been raised before in the debate on the translation of the PSL. It discusses the challenges of the initial steps of the translator’s professional career, alliance of translators towards the Deaf community, specificity of the literary translation, supervision, technical aspects of the remote work, and feedback. Both the individual texts and the volume as a whole represent a modern approach to the issue of the sign language translation studies from the theoretical and the practical perspective.
